★★★★★ - "Can't thank you enough"
David and I can’t thank you enough for all the help during the last few months. You have been so accommodating during the construction phase of our beautiful unit. We have loved working with you!
From the first visit to New Horizons and talk with Phil, we knew it was a company that we wanted to do business with. In today’s world it is rare to find a company run with such high standards and integrity. The entire staff is a pleasure to work with and will go out of their way to help in any way they can.
Our new coach is beautiful! Every detail has been attended to and the quality of the unit is second to none. We are so impressed by how detail oriented each member of your team is. Eric went way beyond addressing quality assurance matters and delivery of the coach. He shared his overall knowledge of towing, and especially, the coach’s electrical systems. His insights into the inner workings of the coach are invaluable.
Whenever we were out doing something with the coach such as reeling in the power cord or tightening the lug nuts Chris was always watching over us and telling us to stop and let him get someone to do it for us. He gave us a real confidence that NH was watching over us. Every employee went out of their way to make sure they were doing what we needed and kept us informed of the progress. A special thanks to Cory and Juan in this regard.
Carolyn, Nancy and Candie were always available to help get our paperwork, answer questions, and make sure we had everything we needed.
Whenever you call out a few special people that helped us, it always seems that we don’t do justice to those we don’t call by name. We want to make certain that you understand EVERYONE at NH was courteous, helpful, and accommodating.
Please let us know if you ever want one of your prospective customers to hear an honest appraisal of the quality of the NH product, NH experience and the NH employees.
Thanks again! We look forward to seeing each of you again on March 30th.
Phil we hope to see you then too!
Have a great day!

★★★★★ - "The Cat's Meow"
Dear Phil and the New Horizons Family:
We wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the great service we received from New Horizons during our perchase, from the beginning to final delivery. From the very first day we met you, Karen and Cole at the show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, we knew we were dealing with first rate people.
We had been researching for several years to find an RV that would provide us with the quality and comfort we were looking for to begin our adventures as full timers. New Horizons was the only company that met those qualifications, providing us not just an RV but a home. Cole professionally lead us through the process of placing our order, ensuring we would have everything we needed without trying to hard sell us on unnecessary extras.
We were so excited after the show we drove to Junction City for a very impressive tour of the New Horizons facilities, giving us even more peace of mind that we had made the right decision.
We would expecially like to thank your staff for the incredible job they did during the delivery process. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was finished out to our expectations and in providing us with lots of helpful information, making the transition into our new home a wonderful experience.
It has truly been a pleasure working with and getting to know all of you, and we will, without hesitation, recommend New Horizons to everyone we know.

★★★★★ - "Back on the Eastern Shore Safely"
Hello Good Folks at New Horizons,
We are happy to report that Gari & I made it safely back to the Eastern Shore of Virginia last weekend. Our new Majestic towed very nicely. The Trail-Air pin box and Mor-Ryde axles provided a very smooth ride, even when in places, the roadways were not so smooth. We pulled about 400 miles each day on our return trip. We were able to stop by Scotts Furniture in Bridgeville, Delaware on our way back and picked up our two Lazy Boy leather recliners. They look great in the living area and fit very nicely through our oversized 30 entry door.
We are enjoying our Majestic very much and are very grateful for everything everyone at New Horizons has done for us. Thank you. We have never felt so fancy and sophisticated as we do in our Majestic. We love the interior dcor; all of the systems are excellent quality and this certainly is our dream come true. We very much look forward to completing our work here on the Eastern Shore and being able to move around our great country. In the meantime we will be learning about the operation and care of our magnificent coach. We hope to be back in Americas Heartland in about a year and will look forward to visiting with you all again.

★★★★★ - "We Still Feel We Made The Best Choice"
We made the decision to go full time in 2007 and spent the next year researching and inspecting at least 150 different models before coming to a decision. We wanted a fifth wheel that was truly built for four seasons and 24/7 living. Many models claim to be four seasons, but as we became more educated and knowledgeable we realized many of these models are four seasons in name only.
One model we learned about online was New Horizons Mfg., which was priced just over our planned budget of $70k to $90k. New Horizons is a small family owned manufacturer in Kansas that doesnt have dealers and builds their custom units to order. They build specifically for full timers and their fifth wheels are the only ones with a five star industry rating. We had a chance to see one of their models at the 2008 Spring Good Sam Rally in Perry, GA. This was everything we were looking for. It was a true four season, well constructed fifth wheel.
We were not interested in fancy gimmicks that looked cool or impractical features. We wanted features we would use every day for the next 10-15 years of full timing. They build a rigid frame trailer and as a result they were one of the first 5th wheels to offer automatic leveling with a Big Foot system. They also would install a solar system during construction, not as an aftermarket add-on. I am almost 6 4 tall and was able to have the ceiling in the bedroom raised 3 to accommodate me. We were able to have electric outlets added where we wanted them and an additional propane terminal added for our Olympia catalytic heater. It also had some of the largest water capacities and one of the few that allowed us to carry over 3,000 lbs of gear. We picked out all our own flooring and treatments. The final price was no more, and in many cases less than some of the top of the line brands that didnt offer many of these features. The solar has been used extensively since we dry camp a lot and the Big Foot automatic leveling was worth every penny we spent on it.
I feel its impossible today to buy something as complicated as a large RV and not expect a few minor glitches or warranty issues. We had a few but I was able to fix most of them myself. Another feature we liked was their warranty program. We can take the RV to any dealer in the country and New Horizons will cover the warranty work. Their warranty at the time we bought was one of the best in the industry. Weve now traveled and lived in the RV for 3 1/2 years, as this is our only home, and we still feel we made the best choice.

★★★★★ - "...Except Ours"
We are in the Hill Country of Texas. There days ago the high was 77 degrees. We have had 4 days of weather with a 3 degree lows with daytime highs of 20 degrees.
All of the other diesel pushers, fifth wheels and travel trailers in the park have frozen and broken water lines. Except ours, which has had no problems. We have been very comfortable with zero problems. The insulation of the unit and the Artic package are wonderful.
Thanks to the whole crew.
There is a couple here from Michigan. They were highly impressed with the tour of our unit. There biggest question was whether we were pleased after having our unit after two months and what we would do if we were doing it again. With a lot of consideration we told them we would change nothing and we would highly recommend New Horizon RV. I am sure you will be seeing them fairly soon.
Thanks for everything,

★★★★★ - "Another Happy Customer"
Marilyn and I would like to comment on our recent visit to your new location for warranty work:
To all New Horizons employees,
Marilyn and I picked up our new 39RLTSS Summit 5th wheel last September, 2007. Because of a family members illness, we picked up the unit as soon as it was finished rather than a planned pick up in October, 2007. Also, because of the family illness, we needed to return to San Antonio after only one day for orientation and unit checkout.
We experienced a minimum of problems with our new home but since we were to be in northeastern Oklahoma in June, 2008, we decided to come on up to Junction City to let New Horizons check out our unit for any needed warranty work. Mike was contacted in advance to schedule your service time and a list of concerns was E-mailed to him.
We arrived on June 17, and we were directed to a parking space near the service shop where we could get electricity and water. This was much appreciated since we are Full Timers and we could then be at home in the evening when service was not being conducted. Marianne showed us the customer lounge where we could stay during the day and use the wireless Internet connection.
On Wednesday June 18, Ray promptly began working on the items that we had identified as needing attention. Ray was very diligent, identifying the causes of problems we asked about and correcting them. He had an especially difficult time trouble shooting the wind sensor on the awning and ended up replacing the signal wire from the sensor to the awning controller. Ray recognized that we had a short time for work to be completed and he had our problems fixed by noon on Friday, June 20, in time for us to travel back to El Dorado, KS that afternoon.
Prior to our visit this year, we had incurred a charge for warranty work recommended by an appliance supplier. After incurring the charge for this work, the supplier refused to pay for their recommended work. New Horizons paid us for the un-reimbursed portion and also for work on the appliance that New Horizon authorized. We really appreciate New Horizons standing behind their warranty.
I would also like to recognize support above and beyond the normal. Marianne made sure that we received progress pictures while our unit was being manufactured last fall. As a result, we have a good visual record of how our unit was put together. On Wednesday, we experienced a problem with our Ford tow vehicle. We contacted Mike to tell him that we would be unavailable for the rest of that day while we had to be towed to a Ford garage in Manhattan. He recommended that we tow the truck to the Green Ford Dealer in Abilene. Green Ford serviced the vehicle in much less time and in my estimate, charged significantly less than another dealer could have. A nice side benefit was time to explore the historical sites in Abilene.
We are extremely pleased with our new 5th wheel and are confident that we have experienced fewer problems than other new owners of other RV manufacturers who we have talked to. We know we received better warranty work and saved both New Horizons and us time and money by bringing our new unit back to the factory for work.
Marilyn and I wish to thank New Horizons for all of the kind attention shown us on our recent visit.

★★★★★ - "Very Satisfied"
Thank you and everyone at New Horizons for the friendly, knowledgeable and professional service you have provided me in designing, building and purchasing my 36ft fifth wheel MotoMover. I am a first time buyer and newbie full timer. You have given me an excellent first experience, being sincerely interested in what I was looking for in an RV and guiding me gently through the areas where my knowledge was deficient.
My focus has always been to own a full timers RV that provides safety, durability, ease of maintenance and longevity. I am very satisfied that not only have you built my RV with those qualities and more (like comfort & expert craftsmanship), you completed the unit with appliances and utility products that have the same qualities.
Phil, Drew, Erin, Marianne, Nancy, Mike and the rest of the experts at New Horizons: you have graciously extended your expertise to me to make the whole process from design to ownership and beyond painless, easy and even fun! That fact should not be dismissed quickly because every step and process, except actual acceptance, was accomplished by email, mail and phone. Even now, on the road, I contact Mike with questions and he responds immediately to discuss and provide answers. I am grateful.
Thanks, New Horizons, for not selling me an RV but helping me buy one. Thanks, New Horizons, for a great experience and an awesome home.

★★★★★ - "Very Impressed"
We just wanted to thank you for the new 5th wheel and the help you provided us. We enjoyed our stay and we really enjoy the trailer. Everything worked as promised on the way home.
We were obligated to give a couple of private tours of the trailer when we arrived at the camp sites on the way home. People would walk up and stare at it. They all left a little green with envy, but they do know where to go when they want a quality product.
Everyone we meet at your operation was very helpful and did their best to make us feel at home and answer all our multitude of questions. Best of all they all had the answers or knew where to get it them. You have a very professional group of people. Special thanks to Marianne, Nancy, Johnny, Mike and the young man with the nicotine patch (I hope it works). These are the people we interacted with the most but thanks also to all the rest of your crew behind the product.
You definitely provide a quality experience and make quality product.

★★★★★ - "Love our rear kitchen"
My wife and I own a 30 foot 2004 New Horizons fifth wheel with two slides and a rear kitchen. We wanted a coach that was small enough to be pulled behind a pickup truck and fit into smaller parks, yet was spacious enough to support our full time life style. These requirements were best accomplished with two slides and a rear kitchen in a 30 footer. When we were going through the design process many Rvers warned us STRONGLY about rear kitchen disasters. Opening cabinets, broken dishes, and pots and pans in the sink were common instances among the complaints. After almost a year and ten thousand miles of travel on every kind of road surface imaginable, we have not had one problem. We have glass dishes and even a magnetic knife rack in our kitchen. We have never lost one of them on the roughest road. We love our rear kitchen!
My explanation for this is two fold. First, the MOR/ryde Independent suspension is much better at absorbing road and isolating it to one wheel than is a conventional straight axle and leaf spring. The second reason is the shear mass of the trailer. Most production model fivers with rear kitchens are not intended for full time use and are therefore significantly lighter than ours. Mr. Newton told us that force equals mass times acceleration. That means that for a given road impact force, more mass results in less acceleration. It is this acceleration that throws things around in the rear of the coach.
I would be happy to share our experiences and entertain any questions via email via email.

★★★★★ - "Continually Impressed"
During our nineteen months of full timing in our New Horizons 5th wheel we have congratulated ourselves many times for choosing an RV from New Horizons. We have been continually impressed with the quality of workmanship and materials in our home.
This week when we returned to New Horizons for warranty work, other minor repairs and cabinet modifications we were impressed again. Dan discussed each item on our long list with us in a very professional and helpful manner. Despite an unexpectedly demanding schedule this week, he and Johnny took care of everything thoroughly and to our satisfaction. Mike did his usual beautiful job with the cabinetry.
Our thanks to one and all!

★★★★★ - "Solid Comfort of Real Home"
From the start, Ive enjoyed the quality of my New Horizons fifth wheel trailer. After four months of full timing, Ive come to appreciate the quality even more.
Nearly a hundred people have asked for a tour of my trailer. They noticed quality in areas that I took for granted. Besides the overall fit and finish of the cabinets, they notice the solid construction or the window valances and side trim as well as the special cabinetry for electric outlets and controls. Comments such, as This doesnt seem like a trailer! were common. The biggest impression was the solid comfort of real home.
This week, I stopped by to have a couple of changes made and a look at the transfer switch for the generator. Immediately, several technicians knew exactly what was needed to be done and how to do it. Johnny, Gloria, Danny and Tony had the teamwork of a pit crew but with greater care for the quality. It was certainly worthwhile to come here for service because your service team is outstanding.
I expect to like my trailer even more next year!

Had a great trip to Canada. Friends and family loved my new toys. Lots of future trips planned.
All systems worked perfectly and tow like a dream. My mom was really impressed compared to towing their travel trailer.
Hope all is well with you and the New Horizons team. Thanks for building such a good product!
P.S. Have showed the rig to a number of people. Cabinets and bathroom are always noticed.
